RankSpy — software for indirectly assessing site indexation in search engines, for revealing unindexed pages on your site, and for creating a list of pages that contain links to your site.
RankSpy can extract from search engines the following link sets for
any specified domain:
List of your site pages
indexed by search engines.
List of pages that contain
links to your site.
The lists are extracted using special commands of a search engine. For example, AltaVista retrieves the first list on the command host, and the second one on the command link.
Example: host:www.mailutilities.com.
Unfortunately, there is no uniform standard for all these search engines, and it is impossible to get lists of indexed pages or pages with links from some of them. Some search engines don't provide all the information available with them. For example, Google retrieves on the above requests no more than 1000 entries, and some of the entries in the list might be duplicate.
RankSpy retrieves the most valuable marketing information. No other software will currently provide you with this type of report on indexation levels of your site. This information will help you to reveal registration mistakes and faults.
RankSpy has unlimited search depth (all results are dependant upon the search engines at the time of submission). RankMeter (formely Advanced Site Position) is software that locates web-sites positions in search engines using keywords.
RankMeter supports two modes of operation: you can find out position of one site using several sets of search phrases or, vice versa, you can find out positions of several sites using one search phrase. In both modes, search depth is unlimited. Program work with 334 search engines, including German, French, Japanese, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Dutch, English, Finnish, Brasilian, Portuguese, Chinese, Taiwan, Hong-Kong and other search engines.
Results are provided in a table form. You can see a popup hints with detail information how many results returned by search engine on your query as well, as your site position, number of page with your site, position on this page and number of results on the page. It is possible to stop and save a project to continue working on it later.
